Visitors to Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola’s areas of public interest are reminded to use the installation’s West Gate at the south end of Blue Angel Parkway. The West Gate is open daily from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m.

Additionally, the NAS Pensacola Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and Linkedin pages should be considered the only official sources of information on accessing the air station.

The Santa Rosa Island Authority  announced that Pensacola Beach has retained its Class 5 rating in the National Flood Insurance Program's Community Rating System .

This prestigious rating recognizes the SRIA’s outstanding efforts in floodplain management and leading the community to be more disaster resilient. This Class 5 rating qualifies the Pensacola Beach community for a 25% discount on flood insurance premiums for most NFIP policies issued or renewed on or after October 1, 2024.
