The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces the launch of the Pensacola Bay Bridge (PBB) Goes Online program; an interactive science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) based learning program designed to engage children of all ages and inspire teachers and parents to continue to foster innovative learning.
Pensacola Bay Bridge Goes to School was implemented as part of the FDOT’s outreach efforts for the Pensacola Bay Bridge replacement project. FDOT reimagined the original program into a virtual option for Summer 2020 learning. PBB Goes Online makes summer curriculum and instruction available online and in real-time, expanding the reach of the program.
The online program also gives teachers, parents and community organizations the option for children to participate in live streaming, hands-on STEAM-based activities that have been created specifically for the Pensacola Bay Bridge Replacement Project.
Teachers and parents may participate in PBB Goes Online by requesting virtual activity demonstrations or by engaging in a live, virtual story time.
