The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce’s “Season Your Holidays” Lighted Boat Parade event, initially planned for Saturday night, Dec. 2, has been postponed to take place on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. due to inclement weather, rough seas and high winds.

he Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently awarded Gulf Breeze Hospital a five-star rating on its Hospital Compare website for the sixth year in a row. Gulf Breeze Hospital was only one of 11 hospitals in the state of Florida and the only hospital in Northwest Florida to earn five stars.

ECUA is pleased to announce that the Pensacola Beach Reclaimed Water Main Project is moving forward and installation work on the $1.8M project will begin on September 6, after the Labor weekend and the heaviest months of the beach tourist season.  ECUA’s contractor, Chavers Construction, will begin work to install a 16-inch distribution main and a 12-inch transmission main for reclaimed water, from Casino Beach to Avenida 10.  As work progresses, select sections of the right-hand lane in the eastbound direction of Via de Luna will be closed to traffic
