Full Board Waives Residential Rebuilding Time

Vacant lots can stay vacant. The Santa Rosa Island Authority at their March 22 full board meeting voted unanimously to waive the Single Family Residential Building Timeline Provision policy on leasehold land for another 8 years.

Six Lanes Open on Bay Bridge

 All six lanes on the Pensacola Bay Bridge are now open to traffic after the opening of the third travel lane on the eastbound structure earlier today. With the opening of the lane, each bridge structure consists of three, 12-foot travel lanes flanked by 10-foot shoulders.

Visit Pensacola Announces Event Grant Program

Do you need funding to promote an event in Escambia County? Visit Pensacola is now accepting grant applications for its event marketing program for events in Escambia County occurring between Oct. 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2024.  Visit Pensacola’s grant program aims to support marketing efforts for events with the history or potential to attract visitors overnight to increase tourism in the area and engage the local community with more dynamic experiences.
