The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce announces the roll out of their newest iniative - -  RADIATE Leadership Lab,  a leadership development program created to cultivate compassionate, confident, and service-driven leaders rooted in the values of hospitality and community. For the first edition of “By the Numbers,” Escambia County EMS is highlighting statistics from the 2024 and 2025 Pensacola Beach Air Show weekends. The statistics come from the service provided from Thursday to Saturday of the air show weekend.

"Escambia County EMS is proud to support and participate in the Pensacola Beach Air Show," said EMS Chief Chris Watts. "This event draws thousands of visitors to our area, and we dedicate significant resources to ensure their safety and well-being. Our team’s mission is to provide the same high-quality medical and emergency care on the beach that we deliver every day throughout Escambia County. By offering on-site medical treatment, we were able to assist numerous attendees and allow them to return safely to the show and enjoy all that Pensacola Beach has to offer."

The Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA) will launch their free Pensacola Beach Island Trolley service this Memorial Day weekend, beginning Friday, May 23.

The trolleys are operated by Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) and will run daily from 4 p.m. to midnight through Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1.
