Traffic Town Hall Set for May 28 at SRIA

Pensacola Beach residents and business owners are encouraged to attend a Town Hall Meeting, Wednesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. at the SRIA office, #1 Via de Luna. The Town Hall is hosted by District 4 Commissioner Ashlee Hofberger and the topic will be traffic.

45th Annual Chip Boes Basketball Camp Opens Registration

The 45th Chip Boes Championship Basketball Camp as a part of the City of Pensacola Department of Parks and Recreation Sports Specialty Summer Camp Program will conduct three fun filled sessions for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 this summer. Campers receive a new basketball, camp shirt, awards, ice cream party and more! Escambia County Observes Hurricane Preparedness Week Through May10

Hurricane Preparedness Week 2025 is May 4-10. Escambia County Emergency Management encourages residents to take time during the week to prepare their homes for the upcoming hurricane season. The 2025 Atlantic hurricane season will take place between June 1-Nov. 30.

Sea Turtle Nesting Season Starts May 1

Escambia County Sea Turtle Conservation Program volunteers greeted the sun early this morning, May 1, as they officially welcomed the start of sea turtle nesting season.
